These "joyous tales of Algoma" in northern Ontario, centre around the Algoma wolf and life in the northern wilderness. They are recounted by the editor of "The Sault Daily Star", in which newspaper many of them first appeared. They include, alongside many amusing episodes, much factual background on the Algoma wolf.
