Title-page printed in red and black with publisher’s device. ¾ pebbled very deep red cloth, coated and textured to resemble morocco, raised bands and 6 compartments to spine, 2 ruled and lettered in gilt. Red cloth-covered boards. Moderate yellowish-green endpapers.

Light rub and wear to joints and corners. Tail of spine bent with moderate wear. A bright, clean copy.

A wealth of canine paintings, drawings and sketches throughout. Full of information on the hunts in various parts of England with small county maps at the head of each relevant chapter.
